    In industrial manufacturing and daily use, metal rust is a common and very destructive problem. Especially in humid, acidic, salt spray and other environments, metal surfaces are susceptible to chemical or electrochemical reactions, resulting in the formation of rust spots, which seriously affects the life of parts and the efficiency of equipment operation.
    The nature of metal rust is an oxidizing process. Carbon steel, for example, when the surface is exposed to oxygen and moisture in the air, electrochemical corrosion will occur, the formation of iron oxide, which is our common reddish-brown rust. The rate of corrosion is further accelerated if the metal is also exposed to a salt-containing, acidic or alkaline environment.

However, it is necessary to pay attention to operation safety, prevent corrosion of the metal substrate, and quickly after the removal of rust neutralization, drying and rust treatment.
    3. Suggestions for rust prevention: 
    Rust removal is only the first step, it is more important to prevent re-rusting. It is recommended to protect the metal surface by painting, plating, passivation or oiling. For the long-term operating environment of the equipment, it should be kept dry, regularly inspected, and the appropriate material and antirust surface treatment should be selected according to the operating environment.
