Ball Grip Index Plunger
MS1107
Ball Grip Index Plunger, commonly referred to in Chinese as a ball-head handle index plunger or ball-head locating pin. It is a manually operated positioning fastener combining an ergonomic handle with an internal spring and locking ball mechanism.
Workflow:
Locked State: Under spring force, the locking ball at the plunger's front end is ejected and engages into the positioning hole on the equipment, securing the component in place.
Unlocking and Adjustment: When position adjustment is required, the operator directly grasps the ball-head handle and pulls it outward. This pulling force overcomes the internal spring tension, retracting the locking ball from the positioning hole to release the lock.
Repositioning: While in the pulled-out state, move the device component to the next required position, then release the handle. The spring force will immediately push the locking ball into the new locating hole, completing the locking action.
Key Features and Advantages
Exceptionally user-friendly operation: The ball-head handle delivers maximum grip and comfort, enabling effortless handheld use and significantly boosting work efficiency.
High Versatility: The spherical design enables effortless gripping from any angle, making it ideal for operation in confined or poorly visible spaces.
Safety and Reliability: A robust spring provides stable locking force, preventing accidental loosening due to vibration.
Ball Grip Index Plungers are extensively employed in equipment and tools requiring frequent manual adjustment and locking:
Machine tools and machining centres: For locating and locking rotary indexing tables, rapid changing and locking of fixture modules, and safety locking of protective doors.
Tooling fixtures: For rapid adjustment and securing of movable stops
