How Does Ball Plunger Work?

When the workpiece contacts the ball, it presses the ball into the housing, compressing the internal spring;
Upon release, the spring pushes the ball back into position, causing it to rest against the workpiece surface or groove, thereby achieving positioning or limiting.

Structure Components
Housing: Typically cylindrical, featuring external threads (for easy installation) or a smooth surface.
Ball: Located at the front end, it contacts the workpiece and rolls freely to minimize friction.
